It all started in 1962, when LAVENA was established, as a manufacturer of natural essential lavender oil. Being familiar with the herbs and the process of extracting valuable oils from them, Lavena grew into an experienced producer of quality natural products.

Throughout the years, its activities expanded and gradually next to the distilleries, plants for various cosmetic products – creams, shampoos, and toothpaste – were built. The permanent striving for development leads the company to next and higher level – manufacturing of food supplements and medical products.

All the businesses that the company successfully grows today, are based on tradition and successive upgrade. From its own laboratories, in which new products are being developed, through production, controlled at every level, to shipping to every part of the world – the experience and the knowledge are being used to provide quality – both to the end customers and the services offered to clients.

The expansion of the export of cosmetic products in recent years is due to the indisputable quality of Lavena’s products, their precise positioning on different markets around the world, and the effective marketing policies, applied by the company.

Lavena starts 2015 with even greater challenges and ambitions. The renovation and modernization of the production facilities are in full swing and develop as planned. The implementation of the new ERP system has the objective to prepare the company for a qualitatively new level of management, in accordance with our ambitious plans for development. The implementation of the GMP Standard in the organization is not only a test for the quality and the potential of the managerial staff, but also a firm request for aligning with the most prestigious world manufacturers.
The rapid expansion of the geography of the markets of Lavena PLC on the world map is a strategic direction in the development of the company, aiming at increase in sales, diversification of markets, and hedging of the geopolitical risk.
The creation of new brands in niche market segments is a part of the philosophy of the company and will continue to be implemented in 2015.
Our relationships with the customers, understanding and meeting their demands, are a main focus in the company`s activities. However, it will not be achieved, if the same principles and values are not implemented on internal company level.
